Welcome...

Dear Family and Friends.........

This webiste is dedicated to our daughter whom we have never seen or met. At this point, we no nothing about her...other than she is from China. We anxiously wait to meet her once our red threads will touch.

Since all of our family and many of our friends live in the midwest and southern states, we decided that a website would be a great way to keep everyone updated on adopting our daughter. All the latest up to date information will be posted on the Timeline.

We are so grateful that everyone has been very supportive in our choice to start a family by adoption. We are very excited about the process and feel butterflys and energetic love everytime we think or talk about it. Hopefully this website will answer any questions you may have about the process and why we decided to adopt from China. Lady bugs????

Ladybugs are believed to be good luck in the adoption community. Several years ago, while numerous people waited for their referrals, there was a huge infiltration of ladybugs across the nation. Immediately following the ladybug sightings, a flood of referrals came in for many of the waiting parents. Many people now believe that when a ladybug is seen, a referral is not far behind.

My college girlfriend, Erin, and I always liked ladybugs..... Happy to know they bring good luck!

A Chinese Proverb

The Red Thread - "An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break."

“The Red Thread” means that people are already connected to the important people in their life by a red thread. It will continue to bond adoptive families to their baby girls waiting in China for now and for as long as it has to.
